Terms of Use

Last updated 3 October 2026

Noa is for keeping the places you love and sharing them with people you choose. By using the iPhone app or noa.place you agree to these terms. Our privacy notice explains what we collect and why.

What you add

What you add to Noa — places, lists, notes, photos, comments, replies and visits — stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the people your settings allow, for as long as it is on Noa. Only add things you have the right to share.

What is not allowed

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Don’t use Noa to post or send:

  • harassment, bullying or threats, or anything meant to intimidate someone;
  • hate speech, or content that attacks people for who they are;
  • nudity or sexual content, and never anything sexualising a minor;
  • violence, or anything encouraging self-harm or suicide;
  • anything illegal, or that helps someone break the law;
  • spam, scams, or content pretending to be someone else;
  • someone else’s private information without their permission.

Reporting and blocking

  • To report something, tap ••• on a person’s profile, a place, a list or a post, or on a comment or visit, and choose Report. You can also email privacy@noa.place. The person you report is not told who reported them.
  • To block someone, tap ••• on their profile and choose Block. They can no longer follow you, comment on or like what you post, or send you places, any follows between you are removed, and you stop seeing what they post. You can unblock them from Settings.
  • We review every report within 24 hours. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and the accounts that posted it are suspended or removed.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. You can stop using Noa at any time, and delete your account and everything in it yourself, from Settings in the app or on the web — or ask us to, by emailing privacy@noa.place. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.

Google Maps

Noa includes Google Maps features and content. Your use of them is subject to the then-current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

The service

We work to keep Noa running and your places safe, but it is provided as it is, and it may change or be unavailable from time to time. Places, opening hours and directions come partly from other services and may be wrong; check before you travel.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms we’ll update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app before a change that matters takes effect. Questions go to privacy@noa.place.
